Susan Dab MD, FAAP
Dr. Dab attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, where she met her husband who is a native San Franciscan. Following a residency in Pediatrics at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center and a fellowship in Neonatology, the care of the newborn, at Children’s Hospital, San Francisco, Dr. Dab joined the practice.
She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF, a member of the active staff of Sutter CPMC, and has staff affiliation with Marin General Hospital. In addition, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is American Board of Pediatrics-certified in Pediatrics and in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Dr. Dab thoroughly enjoys helping guide parents and children to embrace nurturing and healthy lifestyles, and providing compassionate and individualized resourceful care for children when they are not well. She values the relationships that form over the years, initially guiding parents of infants evolving into guiding the child and advising parents.
Dr. Dab lives in Tiburon with her husband, a dentist, and enjoys cycling, tennis, hiking, travel, reading and time with her daughters and family.
